Lights on Afterschool is a national celebration and advocacy day for afterschool programs. Join a citywide Lights On Afterschool rally at the Spirit Plaza in downtown Detroit on Thursday, Oct. 24th from 5:30pm - 7:00pm!

Your youth, families, staff and champion stakeholders are invited out to advocate for afterschool together! Information about bus pick-up, drop-off and parking will be provided to registrants.

The Michigan After-school Partnership will be providing cider and donuts! The Downtown Detroit Partnership will also be lighting up Campus Martius blue in honor of afterschool! Students can make and bring banners and signs recognizing "Lights On Afterschool" and what they love about their afterschool programs!
