In order to serve youth well, adult youth development professionals need to attend to their own social-emotional health. This webinar will discuss strategies for adults to tune into their own grief and trauma so they can show up for youth in supportive ways during crises, including how to recognize the stages and signs of grief. The webinar will also discuss shifting language and practices from Trauma-Informed Care to Healing Centered Engagement, to ensure an inclusive and strengths-based approach to youth development work.
