Everyone has something to give but a culture of “get” and “me” is forever competing with clear thinking about leadership—about our commitment and service to community, to each other, and even to ourselves. Can we facilitate interactions and engagement that meet young leaders where they are while still encouraging them to push beyond what is familiar and comfortable? How do we cultivate youth leadership that is rooted in community, shared values, and each young person’s unique passions and talents?
Learn more about inspiration as a model of change and leveraging our natural talents and interests as key to personal growth, service to others, and commitment to community. Every group, big or small, is an opportunity for scaffolding an ongoing dynamic exchange of information that informs our programs, our places, and even our regular interactions.
